Hike Mountains to Sea Trail to Rattlesnake Lodge

Rattlesnake Lodge was a summer home of Asheville physician Chase P Ambler and a retreat until it was destroyed by fire in 1926. Today the stone foundation remains, as well as remnants of other artifacts like the outline of an in-ground pool.

Dogs are welcome, but must be on a 6 foot leash.

The hike to Rattlesnake Lodge about 2.8 miles round trip from Ox Creek Rd.
